Platform Fee

MoyoFunds charges a 2% platform fee on the total amount raised. This fee can be:

  • Paid by the campaign organizer (default)
  • Covered by donors (optional setting)
  • Split between organizer and donors

Payment Processing Fees

Mobile Money

  • EcoCash: 1.5%
  • OneMoney: 1.5%
  • Telecash: 1.5%

Bank Transfers

  • Local transfers: 1%
  • International transfers: 2.5%

Card Payments

  • Local cards: 2%
  • International cards: 2.9% + USD $0.30

Withdrawal Fees

Local Withdrawals

  • Mobile money: Free
  • Bank transfer: Free
  • Minimum withdrawal amount: $10

International Withdrawals

  • Wire transfer: $15 flat fee
  • Minimum withdrawal amount: $100

Example Calculation

For a campaign that raises $1,000:

  • Platform fee (2%): $20
  • Average payment processing fee (1.5%): $15
  • Net amount received: $965
